Hello and welcome!  Tell your owners to pull up a seat.  If you have had more then one owner or just one owner you will find this is just the place for you.  Come'on tell your owners to get on over here, bring them their paper and slippers then grab them their favorite drink.  Get them to sit down and tell them to sign up for the forum and delve right in and not to be afraid to speak up.  This is the place for them.  I want to welcome both you the pets and you that are owned by the pets, and had the hearts to take on first, and second hand pets.  Second and third or later hand pets are my heart and soul.  They are what keep me getting up every day.

Now that the pets have flown the coop and the Adults are sitting and sipping, I will address you.  I am trying to do what I can to help the union mission with food and clothes and the local shelters with dog, cat food and toys.  I challange you all to at least drop off a can off canned ham or can or beans if that is all you can afford to the mission and a bag of dog and or cat food and one toy each or more if you can afford.  I am going to do my best to get as much as possible over the next few months and will deliver it before Octorber hopefully as people need it now as do the shelters for the pets.  We are heading into a depression and if the current administration continues on the path we are on we will be there by June!  So Buckle down and be prepared.  Make sure you are buying a head for your pets too so you are not one of those who has to dorp them at a shelter because you can't care for them any more.  Yes the people in the family have to come first but even the dogs should have the scraps.  Please make sure there is always something for the pets.  Look at my slide show, each of those pets were rescues.  They were at first totally unhandable or in need of health care: http://s649.photobucket.com/albums/uu216/emogurl_photos/?albumview=slideshow

Aquariums

Introducing one of three of my beta fish. This is the first one we bought his name is stinky which he is never has been so far. The other two are George and Fred. Don't ask how we came up with the names because we don't know ourselves yet. Each of the three are a little different in species too. One is a Royal crown Beta and one is a cross between a royal and a beta splenda, but he is more splenda then royal. Please post and enjoy!

These are my sweethearts- at least when they aren't chewing threw wires, getting into my protein shots, and anything else they can get their teeth sunk into. They are really good dogs, but they are still puppies and are quite inquisitive. They want to eat the birds but that is ok the birds want to eat them too. Sassy, the bigger of the two thinks if he scratches on the glass hard enough he will catch the black mollie. It's only the black mollie he wants too and boy do I have to actually get up and pull him off the tank. Dogs mans best friend, or worst night mare?

Parrots

My dear sweet wordy bird! He will tell you he is a wordy bird a thousand times an hour. He will also tell you that is a good word and he loves that word. But we don't know if it's Toot Toot or the wordy bird part. He is sweet as can be to me when I am alone with him but someone come into the room and all heck can break out and I am liable to lose a finger.Post and enjoy
